Successful IDC Gili Island year

Successful IDC Gili Islands year!

The last PADI IDC Gili Islands is over. It was a successful PADI IDC Gili Islands year at dive resort Oceans 5 Gili Air.

It was the first time in the history of PADI Career Development Center Oceans 5 that it conducted 10 PADI instructor courses a year. And it was a success that we will continue in the next couple of years.

PADI Course Directors, Joeri, Assar and Sander made it all possible. They achieved a brilliant passing rate of 100% for their candidates. Even passing is not the major goal and for sure not the philosophy of Oceans 5. Oceans 5 likes to make confident, good educated instructors.

The next PADI Instructor Development course at Oceans 5 starts the 14th of January. PADI Course Director will be Joeri van Hal. He will be supported by an experienced PADI IDC team. The IDC will be conducted in English, but we support the following languages: Dutch, French, German and Spanish. Oceans 5 has all teaching materials available in these languages.

Oceans 5 is located on Gili Air. Gili air is part of the Gili Islands, North West of Lombok. Gili Air is just 2 hours by fast boat from Bali. If you arrive in the harbor of Gili Air you will see straight away the dive resort.

Gili Air has no motorized transport. The main local taxi is a horse cart, bike are you walk. The island is surrounded by crystal clear water and beautiful views over Lombok or Bali. Gili Air has enough bar and restaurant to be entertained in the evening, even it is not like the party island Gili Trawangan.

Gili Air is for you, if you like to join the PADI IDC, the perfect spot to start your instructor course. Less distraction, better facilities and more beautiful are the keywords!
