Fantastic February PADI IDC Gili Air with Course Director Giny

The February PADI IDC Gili Air

The third PADI IDC Gili Air of 2017 is just finished. All the instructor candidates became a PADI OWSI Instructor. Oceans 5 is proud and wishes them the best in their diving career.

PADI Instructor Course Gili Islands

It started almost a month ago. The candidates arrived at Gili Air for the PADI IDC preparation. This is a free 5 days program where the course directors will brush the diving knowledge and skills. We advice all our instructor candidates to practice the dive theory workbook and watch  the PADI divemaster skills on youtube.

After the preparation a 14 days IDC program included EFR Instructor Course started. All days are divided in a dry and wet part. This gives the optimal teaching conditions for the IDC candidates and PADI Course Directors. The facilities at Oceans 5 are in that way designed that everything is in between walking distance of the 2 IDC classroom, 2 pools and restaurant, bar.

The instructor course will be taught in English but the course directors are covering the following languages: Dutch, French, Spanish and German. This time 2 IDC candidates did everything in French.

After the PADI Instructor Course there s  2 days PADI Instructor Examination. The instructor candidates were prepared well and passed with great scores.

  1. Your blog post is so informative. Scuba diving was only for fun earlier, but now youth is adventurous and numerous professionals are available. They are well trained and well equipped. My cousin joined padi instructor course last week and after a conversation with her I am also excited to do scuba diving as soon as possible.
